Il cantautore partenopeo Mariano Caiano torna sulla scena musicale con il nuovo singolo “Accummincià’ d’ ‘o càpo” disponibile su tutte le piattaforme digitali dal 24 giugno.
Il brano, fortemente autobiografico, è stato scritto in un momento di pura introspezione nel quale l’Artista rivede con consapevolezza il suo presente e si propone, grazie alla forza della musica, di proiettarsi in un futuro senza più quegli errori che, in un modo o nell’altro, hanno ostacolato il suo percorso di vita e professionale.
“Accummincià’ d’ ‘o càpo” vede la partecipazione di Roberto Giangrande al contrabbasso, Rosario Jermano alla batteria ed Elisabetta Serio al piano acustico, Fender Rhodes e tastiere, tutti e tre, per anni, al fianco di Pino Daniele, oltre alle chitarre di Fabio Federici e i cori di Chris Lapolla che ha curato anche il mixing e il mastering.
Mariano Caiano, classe ’67, nasce artisticamente come percussionista. Nel corso degli anni ha collaborato -sia in studio che dal vivo- con Alan Sorrenti, Gianni Bella, Tony Esposito, The Wailers (storica band di Bob Marley), 99 Posse, Café Latino, Articolo 31, Nino Buonocore, Antonio Onorato, Gianni Conte, Ralph P e tanti altri ancora.
Dal 2001 è una delle tre voci soliste de L’Orchestra Italiana di Renzo Arbore, oggi rinominata N.O.I. la Nuova Orchestra Italiana.
Dopo queste esperienze in giro per il mondo, decide di intraprendere la carriera solista, battezzando in maniera unica e originale questo suo genere musicale con il nome di “Partenoworld”, auspicando -come egli stesso afferma- “che un domani possa rappresentare una vera e propria corrente artistica (così come accadde per la “Neapolitan Power”) aperta a tutti coloro che vorranno esprimersi tra l’antica tradizione della canzone partenopea e la modernità di una Napoli sempre più aperta alle culture e alle sonorità di altri popoli”.
Nel 2017 ha pubblicato la sua prima autoproduzione, l’EP “Stamm Accussì” da cui è stato tratto il video singolo “Mama Cuba” che ha totalizzato oltre 221.600 visualizzazioni. Seguono, nel 2018, i due singoli intitolati “Ricciulé” e “‘A tumbulélla”, sempre autoprodotti.
