produttori. Il pomodoro è in fase avanzata di maturazione, la frutta di stagione e il mais sono soggetti a vere e proprie bruciature e i costi per l’energia e l’irrigazione aumentano a dismisura. Se l’anno scorso la pioggia ha ritardato la maturazione e il raccolto di frutta estiva e di ortaggi, quest’anno abbiamo il problema inverso. La terra soffre ed anche i nostri imprenditori agricoli. È per questo che chiediamo alla Regione Campania che venga dichiarato con urgenza lo stato di calamità, con lo stanziamento di risorse adeguate a supporto di quanti con fatica cercano di svolgere il proprio lavoro”.
Così Alfonso Di Massa, presidente della Fedagri Confcooperative Campania, all’indomani del Consiglio della dirigenza della Federazione. “Un altro problema, per il quale sembra non esserci una soluzione adeguata, sono i continui incendi nelle zone interne che mettono a rischio la popolazione e minacciano i raccolti. Le istituzioni dovrebbero mettere in conto che la scomparsa del clima mediterraneo impone seri e veloci provvedimenti” conclude Di Massa.
